After two British retailers, the new Sony Xperia Z smartphone is now getting priced in Germany via Amazon. The retailer is offering this Sony IP55/IP57-rated phone for cost ?649 on 16GB version. Amazon Germany didn?t say anything about launch the Sony Xperia Z in Germany but it?s expected next month or March.
Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software, the Xperia Z smartphone boasts a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. This dust-proof and waterproof smartphone packs a 5-inch touchscreen display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and Mobile Bravia engine. The Sony Xperia Z quad-core smartphone has a 13MP rear-facing camera with Exmor RS sensor and 2MP camera on the front.
Other features on the Xperia Z are a MicroSD card slot, HSPA, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE connectivity.
According to rumors, the sibling handset to the Xperia Z, the Sony Xperia ZL will not be launched in the UK and Italy.
